A place for curiosity
A strange story can be worth listening to without being established fact. Here, curiosity and skepticism belong at the same table. We want to know what someone experienced, how the account was recorded, and what remains uncertain.
Our cryptid and supernatural sections explore accounts and interpretations. Our folklore notes make room for the stories themselves: the images, places, and traditions that give a legend its life. These are different ways of looking at the unknown, and we aim to make those differences clear.
People before mysteries
Missing-person coverage carries a different responsibility. Real people and families are never characters in a monster story. We will distinguish sourced information from speculation and direct case tips to the appropriate investigating agency.
